Extended Hours

Who are these appointments for?

We provide extended hours surgeries for those who are not able to attend during normal working hours. Please be aware that these surgeries are for routine appointments only. If you need to be seen as an emergency, you will be directed to one of the out of hours services. Please contact reception to book an appointment.

When are these appointments?

Early Morning

Surgeries are operated from 07:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays from High Green Health Centre, and Wednesdays from Burncross Surgery.   

Late Evening

There are also later evening appointments, with the latest appointment being 19:30. These surgeries operate on Tuesday evenings from Burncross Surgery on Bevan Way only.


We also offer a morning surgery one Saturday per month 08:00 to 09:30, from High Green Health Centre.

Satellite Hub Services

You may also be offered an appointment located at one of the hubs located around Sheffield. This may include GP, practice nurse, health care assistant or physiotherapy appointments. For more information please visit The opening times for each of the hubs are as follows:

For security reasons, during these extended hour surgeries, we do not open the door to anyone that does not have an appointment. Therefore we are unable to allow prescriptions to be ordered / collected out of normal hours.
